“If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more
will your Father in Heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him” Luke 11:13
Receiving the Holy Spirit is completely different from being born again. In Acts 2:17-18: it
reads; “In the last days, God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit on all people.” The Spirit of God has
specific work to be done, and the Scripture clearly teaches us about that work. The Holy Spirit
exalts Jesus. The Holy Spirit convicts us. The Holy Spirit regenerates us. The Holy Spirit
lives in us. The Holy Spirit seals believers. The Holy Spirit guides us. The Holy Spirit prompts
us to worship. The Holy Spirit empowers us for witness. The Holy Spirit enables us to
understand and apply what we are taught in the Word of God. The Holy Spirit will give life to
our mortal bodies.
LORD JESUS, I DESIRE TODAY TO RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN
JESUS NAME, AMEN.
