DAY 3 : Why we need Jesus

“The next day, John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” John 1:29

John refers to Jesus as a Lamb, thus pointing out to the people that He would become the ultimate sacrifice. Jesus’s mother was a virgin, impregnated by the Holy Spirit—God Himself, ensuring that Jesus was wholly innocent and unblemished, becoming the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Isaiah 53:6 says that God laid upon Him the iniquity of us all. Every sin of every man from the beginning of time until the end of the earth was punished and paid for in the death of Jesus Christ. Your past, present and future sins are dealt with in Jesus’s body. You don’t have to pay the price; it is already paid for! Grace is receiving from God what we do not deserve without ever being indebted for the price.

PRAYER
