DAY 4

“Your Lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. Then they shall take some blood and put it on the two doorposts and in the lintel of the houses in which they eat it.” Exodus 12:3-11

Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who died for the sins of the world, Whose mission became clear to mankind only after He had been crucified on the cross. The truth is, there is a price to be paid for our sins, of which the payment is death. Sin had to be punished because God is a just God Who deals not with our sins. In fact, God already put a pattern in place in the Old Testament where God had the people of Israel sacrifice a Lamb without spot or blemish, a perfect lamb so that the death of the innocent would be shed as payment for their sin. In the Old Testament, man would place his sins on the lamb and, in exchange, take the lamb’s innocence. However, this only provided a temporary solution where man’s sins were covered but not taken away! Man, therefore, still needed a savior to be set entirely free, making it crucial for us to recognize that there was a price paid for us to be unconditionally redeemed and restored back to God

PRAYER
